ABOUT US -
Alternate Office Solutions
provides business, administrative, and technical support
services to companies in need of cost effective additional
support. Started by Odetta Taylor in the early 90s this
industry has grown in leaps and bounds as more and more
businesses saw the value in outsourcing various job functions to
providers dedicated to providing a myriad of office support.
Odetta has over 15 years of experience working with Fortune 500
companies in the Executive Assistant field. That
experience accompanied with a deep burning urge for
entrepreneurship helped launch her into this business of
providing services to other entrepreneurs as they grow their
businesses and support for those remote workers and
telecommuters who worked for larger companies.
Another passion of Odetta's is teaching. She spent a
couple of years teaching classes at Durham Technical Community
College, under their Human Resource and Development (HRD)
program. She is a
member of the Women Business Owners Network of Raleigh, NC,
former board Secretary for Prosperity House, Inc., a
transitional home for men in Durham and recent graduate from
University of Phoenix, majoring in Business Administration.
When time permits, Odetta enjoys spending time with
friends and family, traveling, playing board games, sewing and
finding time to relaxing.
